AHHH! Nothing
Like the Fresh Smell of...
BURNED CAT URINE
A few minutes after
I put chicken
cutlets in the oven,
and started cooking
noodles and broccoli
on the stove, the
most vile smell
imaginable began
wafting out and
filling the house.
It was like a skunk,
but worse.
I turned off the
stove, as that was
the obvious source,
and looked inside
the burners. One of
my cats apparently
had the bright idea
to pee on the
burner. There was
still a yellow
puddle in the drip
pan. Absolutely
horrible. Dinner
went into the
garbage, and we
ordered Chinese
take-out.
I think I know which
cat it was (I have
6). He hasn't looked
very well lately,
losing weight and
acting lethargic. So
it may well be a
distress signal,
rather than just
being obnoxious.
None of them have
done this before.
I can still smell
it. Nasty.
