I Had a Tragic Toothbrush Accident This Morning

I couldn't make this up if I tried...

I'm brushing my teeth this morning, with a relatively new toothbrush I got from Wal-Mart less than 2 months ago. It was one of those curved brushes with the long, narrow neck near the head. Anyways, I'm brushing my front teeth, when SNAP! The friggin' thing breaks, and the jagged, broken stem shoots straight into my nostril, very hard.

As I look down in the sink, at the broken brush head, the blood started dripping down. In about half a minute, it's gushing out in a stream. I go through about 3 balls of tissue before getting my wife to look. It took about 20 minutes for the gushing to stop, although it was still dripping out for the better part of the day.

To add to this, my nose is still running from this damn cold. Some of the colors in my tissue after I blow my nose are breathtaking.

It feels like I got punched in the nose. I can't see anything up there, but I figure I've got a nice stab wound about halfway up my nostril. My mother-in-law wrote a nice, threatening letter to Wal-Mart for me. I figure they'll either give me a nice gift certificate, or make me a VP or something.
